FAQ ~ Custom Design Process: Planning is the most important step in the success of your website. Here is a summary of the steps we typically take with our clients in order to launch a successful web site.

Step 1:  Initial Consultation
We will meet with you to discuss design ideas and concepts. This consultation is a brainstorming session where we discuss your needs in depth. During this session we help you to determine who your target market is for the website and settle on what features will be incorporated into your website.

Step 2:  Proposal
After a solid plan is in place for your site design, we can prepare an accurate proposal for its development.

Step 3:  Contract
If the price is acceptable and you are ready to get started, we will prepare our standard web design contract. Once you have agreed on the proposal and signed the contract we will begin working on design layouts.

Step 4:  Web Site Content
You will be required to provide us with all textual content and photographs, unless you have hired us for copy writing services.   It is a good idea for you to get all your content ready while we are working on your layouts, as we will need it in order to complete the site once the design is created. In order for us to complete the website in a timely manner, it is imperative for us to receive the content as soon as possible.  Please keep in mind that all content is protected by copyright law and it is not legal for you to use "borrowed" text or pictures without first obtaining permission from their rightful owners. Step 5: Initial Layout
An initial concept for the design of your web pages is created based on information you gave us in our initial consultation and conversations thereafter. You will be given the opportunity to make revisions to the initial layout before we develop the site.

Step 6: Website Development
Now that we have agreed upon a design we will start putting in content and developing the web pages.  During this stage we should have received all content and changes from the client.

Step 7:  Web Site Completion
Once the site is complete, you will be given the opportunity to go through it and prepare a "punch out" list noting any errors or omissions that need to be corrected. This is not the time to make major changes to navigation or design, this is what step 5 is used for.

Step 8:  Web Site Launch
Once the site is complete and we have received your final approval, we are ready to launch the site.
